Therapeutic Approach
Do you overthink often - worrying about the future or regretting the past? Have you recently experienced any major changes in your life? Are you an older adult or parent struggling to keep your balance in life? These concerns can bring about unwanted stress, anxiety, and self-doubt – they might also make you feel frustrated and alone. You don't have to struggle on your own. I can help. We will work together through these challenges to find your solutions and achieve fulfillment.
My expertise includes a variety of issues including (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, life transitions, aging, and grief/loss. I am also experienced with issues of family relationships/conflict, adoption, foster care, maternal depression, and trauma. I help my clients relieve tension and stress through techniques connected to mindfulness and CBT.
I tailor individual approaches to each of my clients’ particular situations. We will work collaboratively to establish a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship in order to explore emotions and develop insights to build on untapped strengths. I believe in the power of relationships to make positive changes in people's lives.
